Bullitt County Martial Arts Academy
Who are we?
Bullitt County Martial Arts Academy is a “Black Belt School” focusing on providing the highest quality martial arts instruction in MMA, Jujutsu, and Traditional Martial Arts for students in the Crossroads area.
What do we do?
As a dojo, we want to help our students develop and practice the warrior’s tenets for victorious living-courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, and having an indomitable spirit. We accomplish this through simple, direct and valuable programs designed to help each student determine his or her strengths and weaknesses, help him or her develop strategies for succeeding against the odds, and methods for living a balanced and healthy life.
Why did we start a dojo?
In 2017, Tisha Crump began practicing martial arts. Her husband, Hanshi Michael Crump, promised that when she achieved her blackbelt they would teach martial arts together. In early 2023, Tisha achieved this goal; so, they decided to help others realize the awesome, and life changing, benefits that the martial arts can give to those who pursue the warrior’s path. For this reason, Bullitt County Martial Arts Academy was opened.
